Your Dubai-Sharjah commute will soon get a big upgrade
Your Dubai-Sharjah comute is about to get a whole lot better. Thanks to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, there is about to be a serious enhancement of roads between Dubai and Sharjah.
The Tripoli Street Improvement Project has reached the 90% mark, and is set to hit the 100% mark in late June this year, according to a RTA press release. The new project will also ease traffic and streamline access to Warqaa and Mirdif districts, not to mention improve safety at the intersections with Rabat and Nad Al Hamar Streets near Bel Remaitha Club.
The drive towards improving the UAE infrastructure is thanks to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s five-Year plan of Roads and Transport projects, aimed at improving transport infrastructure at the same pace of other Dubai developments.
