TALC ( SOAP STONE )

Barite (Barium Sulphate BaSo4)

Calcium Carbonate CaCo3
Industrial minerals
Talc (Soap Stone)
The mineral talc is a hydrous magnesium silicate. A massive talcose rock is called steatite, and an impure massive variety is known as soapstone. Talc is used commercially because of its fragrance retention, luster, purity, softness, and whiteness. Other commercially important properties of talc are its chemical inertness, high dielectric strength, low electrical conductivity, and oil and grease adsorption. Major markets for talc are ceramics, paint, paper, and plastics.

INDUSTRIAL MINERALS
Barite (Barium Sulphate BaSo4)
Barium sulfate or Super white (Crystal) Barite is mainly found in pharmaceutical and medicine, good quality paper, cable manufacturing, plastics manufacturing, producing and processing of rubber, paint manufacturing, ceramics manufacturing, transparent glass manufacturing, cosmetics, white ink and correction fluid or pen, making insulation clothes, brake lining, and in fluorescent lamps.
